00:33
There are a lot of people

Es gibt viele Leute,

9
24623

z.B. diese Vision vom Beginn des 20. Jahrhunderts.
00:39
It sayssagt here that this is the oceanOzean planeEbene of the futureZukunft.

Es braucht nur eineinhalb Tage,
um den Atlantik zu überqueren.
00:47
TodayHeute, we know that this futureZukunft visionVision didn't come truewahr.
12
35652
3501
Heute wissen wir, dass diese
Zukunftsvision nicht wahr wurde.
00:51
So this is our largestgrößten airplaneFlugzeug whichwelche we have,
13
39153
2932
Dies ist das größte Flugzeug, das es gibt,
00:54
the AirbusAirbus A380, and it's quiteganz hugeenorm,
14
42085
2799
der Airbus A380, und es ist enorm,
00:56
so a lot of people fitpassen in there
15
44884
1548
damit viele Menschen hineinpassen
00:58
and it's technicallytechnisch completelyvollständig differentanders
16
46432
2521
und es ist technisch komplett anders,
01:00
than the visionVision I've showngezeigt to you.
17
48953
2211
als die Vision, die ich Ihnen zeigte.
01:03
I'm workingArbeiten in a teamMannschaft with AirbusAirbus,
18
51164
1970
Ich arbeite in einem Team mit Airbus
01:05
and we have createderstellt our visionVision
19
53134
1579
und wir haben unsere Zukunftsvision
01:06
about a more sustainablenachhaltig futureZukunft of aviationLuftfahrt.
20
54713
2932
von einer nachhaltigeren Luftfahrt gestaltet.
01:09
So sustainabilityNachhaltigkeit is quiteganz importantwichtig for us,
21
57645
2485
Nachhaltigkeit ist ziemlich wichtig für uns,
01:12
whichwelche should incorporateintegrieren socialSozial
22

but as well as environmentalUmwelt and economicWirtschaftlich valuesWerte.
23
61904

und ökonomische Werte umfassen sollte.
01:16
So we have createderstellt a very disruptivestörend structureStruktur
24
64994
2906
Daher haben wir eine
revolutionäre Struktur entworfen,
01:19
whichwelche mimicsahmt nach the designEntwurf of boneKnochen, or a skeletonSkelett,
25
67900
3608
die das Design eines Knochen

01:23
whichwelche occurstritt ein in natureNatur.
26
71508

welches in der Natur vorkommt.
01:25
So that's why it lookssieht aus maybe a little bitBit weirdseltsam,
27
73233
2250
Deshalb sieht es vielleicht
ein bisschen merkwürdig aus,
01:27
especiallyinsbesondere to the people who dealDeal with structuresStrukturen in generalGeneral.
28
75483
3828
besonders für Leute, die sich mit Strukturen
im Allgemeinen beschäftigen.
01:31
But at leastam wenigsten it's just a kindArt of artworkKunstwerk
29
79311
2463
Aber eigentlich ist es eine Art Kunstwerk,
01:33
to exploreerforschen our ideasIdeen about a differentanders futureZukunft.
30
81774
5190
um unsere Ideen über eine
andere Zukunft zu erforschen.
01:38
What are the mainMain customersKunden of the futureZukunft?
31
86964
2152
Wer sind die Hauptkunden der Zukunft?
01:41
So, we have the oldalt, we have the youngjung,
32
89116
1848
Es gibt die Alten, die Jungen,
01:42
we have the uprisingAufstand powerLeistung of womenFrau,
33
90964
2732
die aufkeimende Macht der Frauen,
01:45
and there's one mega-trendMega-trend whichwelche affectsbeeinflusst all of us.
34
93696
4003
und es gibt einen Mega-Trend,
der uns alle betrifft.
01:49
These are the futureZukunft anthropometricsAnthropometrie.
35
97699
2425
Das sind die zukünftigen Anthropometrien.
01:52
So our childrenKinder are gettingbekommen largergrößer, but at the samegleich time
36
100124
3492
Unsere Kinder werden immer größer,
aber gleichzeitig
01:55
we are growingwachsend into differentanders directionsRichtungen.
37
103616
2502
wachsen wir in verschiedene Richtungen.
01:58
So what we need is spacePlatz insideinnen the aircraftFlugzeug,
38
106118
5684
Wir brauchen also Platz im Flugzeug,
02:03
insideinnen a very densedicht areaBereich.
39
111802
2125
innerhalb eines sehr dichten Bereiches.
02:05
These people have differentanders needsBedürfnisse.
40
113927
1738
Diese Leute haben sehr unterschiedliche Bedürfnisse.
02:07
So we see a clearklar need of activeaktiv healthGesundheit promotionBeförderung,
41
115665
3558
Wir sehen ein klares Bedürfnis
nach aktiver Gesundheitsförderung,
02:11
especiallyinsbesondere in the caseFall of the oldalt people.
42
119223
2672
besonders im Fall von alten Menschen.
02:13
We want to be treatedbehandelt as individualsIndividuen.
43
121895
1870
Wir wollen als Individuen behandelt werden.
02:15
We like to be productiveproduktiv throughoutwährend the entireganz travelReise chainKette,
44
123765
5493
Wir wollen während des ganzen
Flugverlaufs produktiv sein,
02:21
and what we are doing in the futureZukunft is
45
129258
2297
und in der Zukunft werden wir
02:23
we want to use the latestneueste man-machineMensch-Maschine interfaceSchnittstelle,
46
131555
3180
die neueste Mensch-Maschine-Schnittstelle nutzen,
02:26
and we want to integrateintegrieren this and showShow this in one productProdukt.
47
134735
4371
und dieses integrieren und
es als ein Produkt zeigen.
02:31
So we combinedkombiniert these needsBedürfnisse with technology'sTechnologie themesThemen.
48
139106
3442
Wir verbinden diese Bedürfnisse
mit Technologiethemen.
02:34
So for instanceBeispiel, we are askingfragen ourselvesuns selbst,
49
142548
2528
Wir fragen uns etwa,
02:37
how can we createerstellen more lightLicht?
50
145076
2213
wie wir mehr Licht schaffen können.
02:39
How can we bringbringen more naturalnatürlich lightLicht into the airplaneFlugzeug?
51
147289
2574
Wie können wir mehr natürliches
Licht ins Flugzeug bringen?
02:41
So this airplaneFlugzeug has no windowsFenster anymorenicht mehr, for exampleBeispiel.
52
149863
3396
Dieses Flugzeug hat z.B. keine Fenster.
02:45
What about the dataDaten and communicationKommunikation softwareSoftware
53
153259
2733
Was ist mit der Daten- und Kommunikationssoftware,
02:47
whichwelche we need in the futureZukunft?
54
155992
1673
die wir in Zukunft brauchen?
02:49
My beliefGlauben is that the airplaneFlugzeug of the futureZukunft
55
157665
2901
Nach meiner Überzeugung,
hat das Flugzeug der Zukunft
02:52
will get its ownbesitzen consciousnessBewusstsein.
56
160566
2133
sein eigenes Bewusstsein.
02:54
It will be more like a livingLeben organismOrganismus
57
162699
2479
Es wird eher wie ein lebender Organismus sein,
02:57
than just a collectionSammlung of very complexKomplex technologyTechnologie.
58
165178
4422
als nur eine Ansammlung
sehr komplexer Technologie.
03:01
This will be very differentanders in the futureZukunft.
59
169600
2122
Das wird in der Zukunft ganz anders sein.
03:03
It will communicatekommunizieren directlydirekt
60
171722
1569
Es wird direkt mit dem Passagier
03:05
with the passengerPKW in its environmentUmwelt.
61
173291
2880
in seinem Umfeld kommunizieren.
03:08
And then we are talkingim Gespräch alsoebenfalls about materialsMaterialien,
62
176171
2101
Und das betrifft auch die Materialien,
03:10
syntheticSynthetik biologyBiologie, for exampleBeispiel.
63
178272
1986
synthetische Biologie zum Beispiel.
03:12
And my beliefGlauben is that we will get more and more
64
180258
3715
Wir werden mehr
neue Materialien bekommen,
03:15
newneu materialsMaterialien whichwelche we can put into structureStruktur laterspäter on,
65
183973
3702
die wir später in die Struktur einfügen können,
03:19
because structureStruktur is one of the keySchlüssel issuesProbleme in aircraftFlugzeug designEntwurf.
66
187675
4146
denn die Struktur ist ein Schlüsselfaktor
bei der Flugzeugkonstruktion.
03:23
So let's comparevergleichen the oldalt worldWelt with the newneu worldWelt.
67
191821
3272
Lassen Sie uns die alte mit
der neuen Welt vergleichen.
03:27
I just want to showShow you here what we are doing todayheute.
68
195093
1967
Hier zeige ich Ihnen, was wir heute tun.
03:29
So this is a bracketHalterung of an A380 crewCrew restsich ausruhen compartmentAbteil.
69
197060
4280
Das ist der Träger
einer A380 Crew-Ruhekabine.
03:33
It takes a lot of weightGewicht,
70
201340
1697
Er benötigt ein großes Gewicht
03:35
and it followsfolgt the classicalklassische designEntwurf rulesRegeln.
71
203037
3151
und folgt den klassischen Entwurfsregeln.
03:38
This here is an equalgleich bracketHalterung for the samegleich purposeZweck.
72
206188
3651
Dies hier ist ein ähnlicher
Träger für den gleichen Zweck.
03:41
It followsfolgt the designEntwurf of boneKnochen.
73
209839
2149
Es folgt dem Aufbau eines Knochens.
03:43
The designEntwurf processverarbeiten is completelyvollständig differentanders.
74
211988
2520
Der Entwurfsprozess ist komplett anders.
03:46
At the one handHand, we have 1.2 kilosKilo,
75
214508
2721
Auf der einen Seite haben wir 1,2 Kilo
03:49
and at the other handHand 0.6 kilosKilo.
76
217229
1943
und auf der anderen Seite 0,6 Kilo.
03:51
So this technologyTechnologie, 3D printingDrucken, and newneu designEntwurf rulesRegeln
77
219172
3267
Diese Technologie, 3D-Drucken,
und neue Entwurfsregeln
03:54
really help us to reducereduzieren the weightGewicht,
78
222439
1592
helfen uns wirklich, Gewicht einzusparen,
03:56
whichwelche is the biggestgrößte issueProblem in aircraftFlugzeug designEntwurf,
79
224031
2595
was das Hauptproblem in
der Flugzeugkonstruktion ist,
03:58
because it's directlydirekt linkedverknüpft to greenhouseGewächshaus gasGas emissionsEmissionen.
80
226626
2654
denn das ist direkt mit
Treibhausgasemissionen verknüpft.
04:01
PushDrücken Sie this ideaIdee a little bitBit forwardVorwärts-.
81
229280
1820
Treibt man die Idee noch ein bisschen weiter,
04:03
So how does natureNatur buildbauen its componentsKomponenten and structuresStrukturen?
82
231100
4976
wie bildet die Natur ihre
Komponenten und Strukturen?
04:08
So natureNatur is very cleverklug. It putslegt all the informationInformation
83
236076
3041
Die Natur ist also sehr schlau.
Sie legt alle Informationen
04:11
into these smallklein buildingGebäude blocksBlöcke, whichwelche we call DNADNA.
84
239117
3197
in diese kleinen Bausteine, DNS genannt.
04:14
And natureNatur buildsbaut largegroß skeletonsSkelette out of it.
85
242314
2576
Und die Natur schafft daraus große Skelette.
04:16
So we see a bottom-upProst approachAnsatz here,
86
244890
2494
Wir sehen hier einen Bottom-up-Ansatz,
04:19
because all the informationInformation, as I said, are insideinnen the DNADNA.
87
247384
3165
denn alle Information ist in der DNS enthalten.
04:22
And this is combinedkombiniert with a top-downvon oben nach unten approachAnsatz,
88
250549
1994
Und das wird mit einem Top-down-Ansatz kombiniert,
04:24
because what we are doing in our dailyTäglich life
89
252543
2318
denn in unserem alltäglichen Leben
04:26
is we trainZug our musclesMuskeln, we trainZug our skeletonSkelett,
90
254861
3106
trainieren wir unsere Muskeln, unser Skelett,
04:29
and it's gettingbekommen strongerstärker.
91
257967
2000
wodurch es stärker wird.
04:31
And the samegleich approachAnsatz can be appliedangewendet to technologyTechnologie as well.
92
259967
2376
Derselbe Ansatz kann auch auf
Technologie angewendet werden.
04:34
So our buildingGebäude blockBlock is carbonKohlenstoff nanotubesNanoröhren, for exampleBeispiel,
93
262343
3844
Unsere Bausteine sind
z. B. Kohlenstoffnanoröhren,
04:38
to createerstellen a largegroß, rivet-lessNiet-weniger skeletonSkelett at the endEnde of the day.
94
266187
4266
um letztendlich langes,
ungenietetes Skelett zu erzeugen.
04:42
How this lookssieht aus in particularinsbesondere, you can showShow it here.
95
270453
3054
Wie das im Detail aussieht,
können Sie hier sehen.
04:45
So imaginevorstellen you have carbonKohlenstoff nanotubesNanoröhren growingwachsend
96
273507
2134
Stellen Sie sich vor,
Kohlenstoff-Nanoröhren
04:47
insideinnen a 3D printerDrucker,
97
275641
1437
wachsen im 3D-Drucker,
04:49
and they are embeddedeingebettet insideinnen a matrixMatrix of plasticKunststoff,
98
277078
3199
und sind in eine Kunststoffmatrix eingebettet,
04:52
and followFolgen the forcesKräfte whichwelche occurauftreten in your componentKomponente.
99
280277
3093
und folgen den Kräften,
die in ihren Komponenten auftreten.
04:55
And you've got trillionsBillionen of them.
100
283370
1743
Und davon gibt es Trillionen.
04:57
So you really alignrichten Sie them to woodHolz,
101
285113
2193
Man richtet sie also wirklich am Holz aus,
04:59
and you take this woodHolz and make morphologicalmorphologisch optimizationOptimierung,
102
287306
3169
und man nimmt dieses Holz und
optimiert ihre Form,
05:02
so you make structuresStrukturen, sub-structuresSub-Strukturen,
103
290475
1959
man stellt Strukturen, Sub-Strukturen, her,
05:04
whichwelche allowserlaubt you to transmitübertragen electricalelektrisch energyEnergie or dataDaten.
104
292434
4033
die Ihnen erlauben, elektrische
Energie oder Daten zu übertragen.
05:08
And now we take this materialMaterial, combinekombinieren this
105
296467
1937
Jetzt nehmen wir dieses Material, kombinieren es
05:10
with a top-downvon oben nach unten approachAnsatz,
106
298404
1578
mit einem Top-Down-Ansatz,
05:11
and buildbauen biggergrößer and biggergrößer componentsKomponenten.
107
299982

und bauen immer größere Komponenten.
05:15
So how mightMacht the airplaneFlugzeug of the futureZukunft look?
108
303534

Wie wird also das Flugzeug der Zukunft aussehen?
05:18
So we have very differentanders seatsSitze whichwelche adaptanpassen
