ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Alison Gopnik - Child development psychologist
Alison Gopnik takes us into the fascinating minds of babies and children, and shows us how much we understand before we even realize we do.

Why you should listen

What’s it really like to see through the eyes of a child? Are babies and young children just empty, irrational vessels to be formed into little adults, until they become the perfect images of ourselves? On the contrary, argues Alison Gopnik, professor of psychology and philosophy at the University of California at Berkeley.

The author of The Philosophical BabyThe Scientist in the Crib and other influential books on cognitive development, Gopnik presents evidence that babies and children are conscious of far more than we give them credit for, as they engage every sense and spend every waking moment discovering, filing away, analyzing and acting on information about how the world works. Gopnik’s work draws on psychological, neuroscientific, and philosophical developments in child development research to understand how the human mind learns, how and why we love, our ability to innovate, as well as giving us a deeper appreciation for the role of parenthood.

She says: "What's it like to be a baby? Being in love in Paris for the first time after you've had 3 double espressos."

3000
01:42
What we did -- Bettyबेटी RapacholiRapacholi, who was one of my studentsछात्रों, and I --
36
87000
4000
01:46
was actuallyवास्तव में to give the babiesबच्चों को two bowlsकटोरे of foodभोजन:
37
91000
3000
01:49
one bowlकटोरा of rawकच्चा broccoliब्रोकोली
38
94000
2000
01:51
and one bowlकटोरा of deliciousस्वादिष्ट goldfishसुनहरी crackersपटाखे.
39
96000
3000
01:54
Now all of the babiesबच्चों को, even in Berkleyबर्कली,
40
99000
3000
01:57
like the crackersपटाखे and don't like the rawकच्चा broccoliब्रोकोली.
41
102000
3000
02:00
(Laughter
42
105000
2000
02:02
But then what Bettyबेटी did
43
107000
2000
02:04
was to take a little tasteस्वाद of foodभोजन from eachसे प्रत्येक bowlकटोरा.
44
109000
3000
02:07
And she would actअधिनियम as if she likedपसंद किया it or she didn't.
45
112000
2000
02:09
So halfआधा the time, she actedअभिनय
46
114000
2000
02:11
as if she likedपसंद किया the crackersपटाखे and didn't like the broccoliब्रोकोली --
47
116000
2000
02:13
just like a babyबच्चा and any other saneसमझदार personव्यक्ति.
48
118000
3000
02:16
But halfआधा the time,
49
121000
2000
02:18
what she would do is take a little bitबिट of the broccoliब्रोकोली
50
123000
2000
02:20
and go, "MmmmmMmmmm, broccoliब्रोकोली.
51
125000
3000
02:23
I tastedचखा the broccoliब्रोकोली. MmmmmMmmmm."
52
128000
3000
02:26
And then she would take a little bitबिट of the crackersपटाखे,
53
131000
2000
02:28
and she'dवह था go, "EwwEww, yuckछी, crackersपटाखे.
54
133000
4000
02:32
I tastedचखा the crackersपटाखे. EwwEww, yuckछी."
55
137000
3000
02:35
So she'dवह था actअधिनियम as if what she wanted
56
140000
2000
02:37
was just the oppositeसामने of what the babiesबच्चों को wanted.
57
142000
3000
02:40
We did this with 15 and 18 month-oldमाह पूर्व babiesबच्चों को.
58
145000
2000
02:42
And then she would simplyकेवल put her handहाथ out and say,
59
147000
3000
02:45
"Can you give me some?"
60
150000
2000
02:47
So the questionप्रश्न is: What would the babyबच्चा give her,
61
152000
2000
02:49
what they likedपसंद किया or what she likedपसंद किया?
62
154000
2000
02:51
And the remarkableअसाधारण thing was that 18 month-oldमाह पूर्व babiesबच्चों को,
63
156000
3000
02:54
just barelyमात्र walkingघूमना and talkingबात कर रहे,
64
159000
2000
02:56
would give her the crackersपटाखे if she likedपसंद किया the crackersपटाखे,
65
161000
3000
02:59
but they would give her the broccoliब्रोकोली if she likedपसंद किया the broccoliब्रोकोली.
66
164000
3000
03:02
On the other hand
67
167000
2000
03:04
15 month-oldsमहीने के बच्चों would stareएकटक देखना at her for a long time
68
169000
2000
03:06
if she actedअभिनय as if she likedपसंद किया the broccoliब्रोकोली,
69
171000
2000
03:08
like they couldn'tनहीं कर सका figureआकृति this out.
70
173000
3000
03:11
But then after they staredदेखें for a long time,
71
176000
2000
03:13
they would just give her the crackersपटाखे,
72
178000
2000
03:15
what they thought everybodyहर mustजरूर like.
73
180000
2000
03:17
So there are two really remarkableअसाधारण things about this.
74
182000
3000
03:20
The first one is that these little 18 month-oldमाह पूर्व babiesबच्चों को
75
185000
3000
03:25
this really profoundगहन factतथ्य about humanमानव natureप्रकृति,
77
190000
2000
03:27
that we don't always want the sameवही thing.
78
192000
2000
03:29
And what's more, they feltमहसूस किया that they should actuallyवास्तव में do things
79
194000
2000
03:31
to help other people get what they wanted.
80
196000
3000
03:34
Even more remarkablyध्यान से देखने से thoughहालांकि,
81
199000
2000
03:36
the factतथ्य that 15 month-oldsमहीने के बच्चों didn't do this
82
201000
3000
03:39
suggestsपता चलता है that these 18 month-oldsमहीने के बच्चों had learnedसीखा
83
204000
3000
03:42
this deepगहरा, profoundगहन factतथ्य about humanमानव natureप्रकृति
84
207000
3000
03:45
in the threeतीन monthsमहीने from when they were 15 monthsमहीने oldपुराना.
85
210000
3000
03:48
So childrenबच्चे bothदोनों know more and learnसीखना more
86
213000
2000
03:50
than we ever would have thought.
87
215000
2000
03:52
And this is just one of hundredsसैकड़ों and hundredsसैकड़ों of studiesअध्ययन करते हैं over the last 20 yearsवर्षों
88
217000
4000
03:56
that's actuallyवास्तव में demonstratedसाबित it.
89
221000
2000
03:58
The questionप्रश्न you mightपराक्रम askपूछना thoughहालांकि is:
90
223000
2000
04:00
Why do childrenबच्चे learnसीखना so much?
91
225000
3000
04:03
And how is it possibleमुमकिन for them to learnसीखना so much
92
228000
2000
04:05
in suchऐसा a shortकम time?
93
230000
2000
04:07
I mean, after all, if you look at babiesबच्चों को superficiallyअल्पज्ञता,
94
232000
2000
04:11
And actuallyवास्तव में in manyअनेक waysतरीके, they're worseऔर भी बुरा than uselessनिकम्मा,
96
236000
3000
04:14
because we have to put so much time and energyऊर्जा
97
239000
2000
04:16

06:57
All right, why would we see this correlation
166
402000
3000
07:00
Well an ideaविचार is that that strategyरणनीति, that learningसीख रहा हूँ strategyरणनीति,
167
405000
4000
07:04
is an extremelyअत्यंत powerfulशक्तिशाली, great strategyरणनीति for gettingमिल रहा on in the worldविश्व,
168
409000
3000
07:07
but it has one bigबड़े disadvantageनुकसान.
169
412000
2000
07:09
And that one bigबड़े disadvantageनुकसान
170
414000
2000
07:11
is that, untilजब तक you actuallyवास्तव में do all that learningसीख रहा हूँ,
171
416000
3000
07:14
you're going to be helplessअसहाय.
172
419000
2000
07:16
So you don't want to have the mastodonmastodon chargingचार्ज at you
173
421000
3000
07:19
and be sayingकह रही है to yourselfस्वयं,
174
424000
2000
07:21
"A slingshotगुलेल or maybe a spearभाला mightपराक्रम work. Whichजो would actuallyवास्तव में be better?"
175
426000
4000
07:25
You want to know all that
176
430000
2000
07:27
before the mastodonsmastodons actuallyवास्तव में showदिखाना up.
177
432000
2000
07:29
And the way the evolutionsEvolutions seemsलगता है to have solvedहल किया that problemमुसीबत
178
434000
3000
07:32
is with a kindमेहरबान of divisionविभाजन of laborश्रम.
179
437000
2000
07:34
So the ideaविचार is that we have this earlyजल्दी periodअवधि when we're completelyपूरी तरह protectedसुरक्षित.
180
439000
3000
07:37
We don't have to do anything. All we have to do is learn
181
442000
3000
07:40
And then as adults
182
445000
2000
07:42
we can take all those things that we learnedसीखा when we were babiesबच्चों को and childrenबच्चे
183
447000
3000
07:45
and actuallyवास्तव में put them to work to do things out there in the worldविश्व.
184
450000
3000
07:48
So one way of thinkingविचारधारा about it
185
453000
2000
07:50
is that babiesबच्चों को and youngयुवा childrenबच्चे
186
455000
2000
07:52
are like the researchअनुसंधान and developmentविकास divisionविभाजन of the humanमानव speciesजाति.
187
457000
3000
07:55
So they're the protectedसुरक्षित blueनीला skyआकाश guys
188
460000
3000
07:58
who just have to go out and learnसीखना and have good ideasविचारों,
189
463000
2000
08:00
and we're productionउत्पादन and marketingविपणन.
190
465000
2000
08:02
We have to take all those ideas
191
467000
2000
08:04
that we learnedसीखा when we were childrenबच्चे
192
469000
2000
08:06
and actuallyवास्तव में put them to use.
193
471000
2000
08:08
Anotherदूसरे way of thinkingविचारधारा about it
194
473000
2000
08:10
is insteadबजाय of thinkingविचारधारा of babiesबच्चों को and childrenबच्चे
195
475000
2000
08:12
as beingकिया जा रहा है like defectiveदोषपूर्ण grownupsबड़ों,
196
477000
2000
08:14
we should think about them
197
479000
2000
08:16
as beingकिया जा रहा है a differentविभिन्न developmentalविकास stageमंच of the sameवही speciesजाति --

08:26
and we're the caterpillarsCaterpillars

203

08:31
If this is trueसच, if these babiesबच्चों को are designedडिज़ाइन किया गया to learnसीखना --
204
496000
3000
08:34
and this evolutionaryविकासवादी storyकहानी would say childrenबच्चे are for learningसीख रहा हूँ,
205
499000
3000
08:37
that's what they're for --
206
502000
2000
08:39
we mightपराक्रम expectउम्मीद
207
504000
2000
08:41
that they would have really powerfulशक्तिशाली learningसीख रहा हूँ mechanismsतंत्र.
208
506000
2000
08:43
And in factतथ्य, the baby'sबच्चे के brainदिमाग

08:53
And there's been a revolution

08:57
And it all dependsनिर्भर करता है on the ideasविचारों of this guy,
215
522000
3000
09:00
the Reverendरेवरेंड Thomasथॉमस BayesBayes,
216
525000
2000

09:05
And essentiallyअनिवार्य रूप से what BayesBayes did
218
530000
3000
09:08
was to provideप्रदान करें a mathematicalगणितीय way

222
539000
2000
09:16
So what scientistsवैज्ञानिकों do
223
541000
2000
09:18
is they have a hypothesisपरिकल्पना that they think mightपराक्रम be likelyउपयुक्त to startप्रारंभ with.
224
543000
3000
09:21
They go out and testपरीक्षण it againstविरुद्ध the evidenceसबूत.
225

09:23
The evidenceसबूत makesबनाता है them changeपरिवर्तन that hypothesisपरिकल्पना.
226
548000
2000
09:25
Then they testपरीक्षण that newनया hypothesisपरिकल्पना
227
550000

09:27
and so on and so forthआगे.
228
552000
2000
09:29
And what BayesBayes showedदिखाया है was a mathematicalगणितीय way that you could do that.
229
554000
3000
09:32
And that mathematicsअंक शास्त्र is at the coreकोर

231
559000

09:36
And some 10 yearsवर्षों agoपूर्व,
232

I suggestedसुझाव दिया that babiesबच्चों को mightपराक्रम be doing the sameवही thing.
233
563000
4000
09:42
So if you want to know what's going on
234
567000

09:44
underneathनीचे those beautifulसुंदर brownभूरा eyesआंखें,

09:46
I think it actuallyवास्तव में looksदिखता है something like this.
236

09:48
This is Reverendरेवरेंड Bayes'sBayes के notebookनोटबुक.
237
573000
2000
09:50
So I think those babiesबच्चों को are actuallyवास्तव में makingनिर्माण complicatedउलझा हुआ calculationsगणना
238
575000
3000

240

09:58
All right, now that mightपराक्रम seemलगता है like an even tallerलम्बे orderक्रम to actuallyवास्तव में demonstrateप्रदर्शन.
241
583000
4000
10:02
Because after all, if you askपूछना even grownupsबड़ों about statisticsआंकड़े,
242
587000
2000
10:04
they look extremelyअत्यंत stupidबेवकूफ.
243
589000
2000
10:06
How could it be that childrenबच्चे are doing statisticsआंकड़े?
244
591000
3000
10:09
So to testपरीक्षण this we used a machineमशीन that we have

And usingका उपयोग करते हुए this very simpleसरल machineमशीन,
249
603000
2000
10:20
my labप्रयोगशाला and othersअन्य लोग have doneकिया हुआ dozensदर्जनों of studiesअध्ययन करते हैं
250
605000
2000
10:22
showingदिखा just how good babiesबच्चों को are
251
607000
2000
10:24
at learningसीख रहा हूँ about the worldविश्व.
252
609000
2000
10:26
Let me mentionउल्लेख just one
253
611000
2000
10:28
that we did with Tumarतुमार KushnerKushner, my studentछात्र.
254
613000
2000
10:30
If I showedदिखाया है you this detectorवेक्षक,
255
615000
2000
10:32
you would be likelyउपयुक्त to think to beginशुरू with
256
617000
2000
10:34
that the way to make the detectorवेक्षक go
257
619000
2000
10:36
would be to put a blockखंड on topचोटी of the detectorवेक्षक.
258
621000
3000
10:39
But actuallyवास्तव में, this detectorवेक्षक
259
624000
2000
10:41
worksकाम करता है in a bitबिट of a strangeअजीब way.
260
626000
2000
10:43
Because if you waveलहर a blockखंड over the topचोटी of the detectorवेक्षक,
261
628000
3000
10:46
something you wouldn'tनहीं होगा ever think of to beginशुरू with,
262
631000
3000
10:49
the detectorवेक्षक will actuallyवास्तव में activateसक्रिय two out of threeतीन timesटाइम्स.
263
634000
3000
10:52
Whereasजबकि, if you do the likelyउपयुक्त thing, put the blockखंड on the detectorवेक्षक,
264
637000
3000
10:55
it will only activateसक्रिय two out of sixछह timesटाइम्स.
265
640000
4000
10:59
So the unlikelyसंभावना नहीं hypothesisपरिकल्पना
266
644000
2000
11:03
It looksदिखता है as if the wavingलहराते
268
648000
2000
11:05
is a more effectiveप्रभावी strategyरणनीति than the other strategyरणनीति.
269
650000
2000
11:07
So we did just this; we gaveदिया fourचार year-oldsवर्ष-बच्चों this patternपैटर्न of evidenceसबूत,
270
652000
3000
11:10
and we just askedपूछा them to make it go.
271
655000
2000
11:12
And sure enoughपर्याप्त, the fourचार year-oldsवर्ष-बच्चों used the evidenceसबूत
272
657000
3000
11:15
to waveलहर the objectवस्तु on topचोटी of the detectorवेक्षक.
273
660000
3000
11:18
Now there are two things that are really interestingदिलचस्प about this.
274
663000
3000
11:21
The first one is, again, rememberयाद है, these are fourचार year-oldsवर्ष-बच्चों.
275
666000
3000
11:24
They're just learningसीख रहा हूँ how to countगिनती.
276
669000
2000
11:26
But unconsciously
277
671000
2000
11:28
they're doing these quiteकाफी complicatedउलझा हुआ calculationsगणना
278
673000
2000
11:30
that will give them a conditionalसशर्त probabilityसंभावना measureमाप.
279
675000
3000
11:33
And the other interestingदिलचस्प thing
280
678000
2000
11:35
is that they're usingका उपयोग करते हुए that evidenceसबूत
281
680000
2000
11:37
to get to an ideaविचार, get to a hypothesisपरिकल्पना about the worldविश्व,
282
682000
3000
11:40
that seemsलगता है very unlikelyसंभावना नहीं to beginशुरू with.
283
685000
3000
11:43
And in studiesअध्ययन करते हैं we'veहमने just been doing in my labप्रयोगशाला, similarसमान studiesअध्ययन करते हैं,
284
688000
3000
11:46
we'veहमने showदिखाना that fourचार year-oldsवर्ष-बच्चों are actuallyवास्तव में better
285
691000
2000
11:48
at findingखोज out an unlikelyसंभावना नहीं hypothesisपरिकल्पना
286
693000
3000
11:51
than adultsवयस्कों are when we give them exactlyठीक ठीक the sameवही taskकार्य.
287
696000
3000
11:54
So in these circumstances
288
699000
2000
11:56
the childrenबच्चे are usingका उपयोग करते हुए statisticsआंकड़े to find out about the worldविश्व,
289
701000
3000
11:59
but after all, scientistsवैज्ञानिकों alsoभी do experimentsप्रयोगों,
290
704000
3000
12:02
and we wanted to see if childrenबच्चे are doing experimentsप्रयोगों.
291
707000
3000
12:05
When childrenबच्चे do experimentsप्रयोगों we call it "gettingमिल रहा into everything"
292
710000
3000
12:10
And there's been a bunchझुंड of interestingदिलचस्प studiesअध्ययन करते हैं recentlyहाल ही में
294
715000
3000
12:13
that have shownपता चला this playingखेल रहे हैं around
295
718000
3000
12:16
is really a kindमेहरबान of experimentalप्रयोगात्मक researchअनुसंधान programकार्यक्रम.
296
721000
2000
12:18
Here'sयहां के one from Cristineक्रिस्टीन Legare'sLegare के labप्रयोगशाला.
297
723000
3000
12:21
What Cristineक्रिस्टीन did was use our BlicketBlicket Detectorsडिटेक्टरों.
298
726000
3000
12:24
And what she did was showदिखाना childrenबच्चे
299
729000
2000
12:26
that yellowपीला onesलोगों madeबनाया गया it go and redलाल onesलोगों didn't,
300
731000
2000
12:28
and then she showedदिखाया है them an anomalyविसंगति.
301
733000
3000
12:31
And what you'llआप करेंगे see
302
736000
2000
12:33
is that this little boyलड़का will go throughके माध्यम से fiveपंज hypothesesपरिकल्पना
303
738000
3000
12:36
in the spaceअंतरिक्ष of two minutesमिनट.
304
741000
3000
12:39
(Videoवीडियो) Boyलड़का: How about this?
305
744000
3000
12:43
Sameसमान as the other sideपक्ष.
306
748000
3000
12:46
AlisonAlison GopnikGopnik: Okay, so his first hypothesisपरिकल्पना has just been falsifiedूःतुत.
307
751000
4000
12:55
(Laughter
308
760000
2000
12:57
Boyलड़का: This one lightedप्रकाशित up, and this one nothing.
309
762000
3000
13:00
AGएजी: Okay, he's got his experimentalप्रयोगात्मक notebookनोटबुक out.
310
765000
3000
13:06
Boyलड़का: What's makingनिर्माण this lightरोशनी up.
311
771000
4000
13:11
(Laughter
312
776000
9000
13:20
I don't know.
313
785000
2000
13:22
AGएजी: Everyहर scientistवैज्ञानिक will recognizeपहचानना that expressionअभिव्यक्ति of despairनिराशा.
314
787000
4000
13:26
(Laughter
315
791000
3000
13:29
Boyलड़का: Oh, it's because this needsज़रूरत to be like this,
316
794000
6000
13:35
and this needsज़रूरत to be like this.
317
800000
2000
13:37
AGएजी: Okay, hypothesisपरिकल्पना two.
318
802000
3000
13:40
Boyलड़का: That's why.
319
805000
2000
13:42
Oh.
320
807000
2000
13:44
(Laughter
321
809000
5000
13:49
AGएजी: Now this is his nextआगामी ideaविचार.
322
814000
2000
13:51
He told the experimenterप्रयोगकर्ता to do this,
323
816000
2000
13:53
to try puttingडाल it out ontoपर the other locationस्थान.
324
818000
4000
14:02
Boyलड़का: Oh, because the lightरोशनी goesजाता है only to here,
326
827000
4000
14:06
not here.
327
831000
3000
14:09
Oh, the bottomतल of this boxडिब्बा
328
834000
3000
14:12
has electricityबिजली in here,
329
837000
2000
14:14
but this doesn't have electricityबिजली.
330
839000
2000
14:16
AGएजी: Okay, that's a fourthचौथा hypothesisपरिकल्पना.
331
841000
2000
14:18
Boyलड़का: It's lightingप्रकाश up.
332
843000
2000
14:20
So when you put fourचार.
333
845000
5000
14:26
So you put fourचार on this one to make it lightरोशनी up
334
851000
3000
14:29
and two on this one to make it lightरोशनी up.
335
854000
2000
14:31
AGएजी: Okay,there's his fifthपांचवां hypothesisपरिकल्पना.
336
856000
2000
14:33
Now that is a particularly
14:36
that is a particularlyविशेष रूप से adorableआराध्य and articulateमुखर little boyलड़का,
338
861000
3000
14:39
but what Cristineक्रिस्टीन discoveredकी खोज की is this is actuallyवास्तव में quiteकाफी typicalठेठ.
339
864000
3000
14:42
If you look at the way childrenबच्चे playप्ले, when you askपूछना them to explainसमझाना something,
340
867000
3000
14:45
what they really do is do a seriesशृंखला of experimentsप्रयोगों.
341
870000
3000
14:48
This is actuallyवास्तव में prettyसुंदर typicalठेठ of fourचार year-oldsवर्ष-बच्चों.
342
873000
3000
14:51
Well, what's it like to be this kindमेहरबान of creatureजंतु?
343
876000
3000
14:54
What's it like to be one of these brilliantप्रतिभाशाली butterfliesतितलियों
344
879000
3000
14:57
who can testपरीक्षण fiveपंज hypothesesपरिकल्पना in two minutesमिनट?
345
882000
3000
15:00
Well, if you go back to those psychologistsमनोवैज्ञानिकों and philosophersदार्शनिकों,
346
885000
3000
15:03
a lot of them have said
347
888000
2000
15:05
that babiesबच्चों को and youngयुवा childrenबच्चे were barelyमात्र consciousसचेत
348
890000
2000
15:07
if they were consciousसचेत at all.
349
892000
2000
15:09
And I think just the oppositeसामने is trueसच.
350
894000
2000
15:11
I think babiesबच्चों को and childrenबच्चे are actuallyवास्तव में more consciousसचेत than we are as adultsवयस्कों.
351
896000
3000
15:14
Now here'sयहाँ है what we know about how adultवयस्क consciousnessचेतना worksकाम करता है.
352
899000
3000
15:17
And adults'वयस्कों' attentionध्यान and consciousnessचेतना
353
902000
2000
15:19
look kindमेहरबान of like a spotlightस्पॉटलाइट.
354
904000
2000
15:21
So what happensहो जाता for adultsवयस्कों
355
906000
2000
15:23
is we decideतय that something'sकुछ relevantप्रासंगिक or importantजरूरी,
356
908000
2000
15:25
we should payवेतन attentionध्यान to it.
357
910000
2000
15:27
Our consciousnessचेतना of that thing that we're attendingमें भाग लेने to
358
912000
2000
15:32
and everything elseअन्य sortतरह of goesजाता है darkअंधेरा.
360
917000
2000
15:34
And we even know something about the way the brainदिमाग does this.
361
919000
3000
15:37
So what happensहो जाता when we payवेतन attentionध्यान
362
922000
2000
15:39
is that the prefrontalआकडे cortexप्रांतस्था, the sortतरह of executiveकार्यकारी अधिकारी partअंश of our brainsदिमाग,
363
924000
3000
15:44
that makesबनाता है a little partअंश of our brainदिमाग much more flexibleलचीला,
365
929000
2000
15:46
more plasticप्लास्टिक, better at learningसीख रहा हूँ,
366
931000
2000
15:48
and shutsशट डाउन down activityगतिविधि
367
933000
2000
15:50
in all the restआराम of our brainsदिमाग.
368
935000
2000
15:52
So we have a very focusedध्यान केंद्रित, purpose-drivenप्रयोजन-चालित kindमेहरबान of attentionध्यान.
369
937000
4000
15:56
If we look at babiesबच्चों को and youngयुवा childrenबच्चे,
370
941000
2000
15:58
we see something very differentविभिन्न.
371
943000
2000
16:00
I think babiesबच्चों को and youngयुवा childrenबच्चे
372
945000
2000
16:02
seemलगता है to have more of a lanternलालटेन of consciousnessचेतना
373
947000
2000
16:04
than a spotlightस्पॉटलाइट of consciousnessचेतना.
374
949000
2000
16:06
So babiesबच्चों को and youngयुवा childrenबच्चे are very badखराब
375
951000
3000
16:09
at narrowingसंकुचन down to just one thing.
376
954000
3000
