02:07
So now I'm in frontvoorkant of one of my favoritefavoriete paintingsschilderijen,
46
112000
3000
02:10
"The HarvestersMaaimachines" by PieterPieter BruegelBruegel at the MetOntmoet.
47

De Oogst, door Pieter Breugel, in het Metropolitan.
02:12
I see this plusplus signteken.
48

Ik zie een plusteken.

If the museummuseum has givengegeven us the imagebeeld, you clickKlik on it.
49
119000

02:16
Now this is one of the imagesafbeeldingen.
50
121000
2000
Dit is één van de beelden.
02:18
So this is all of the meta-datameta-data informationinformatie.
51
123000
2000
Dit is zijn de meta-gegevens.
02:20
For those of you who are trulywerkelijk interestedgeïnteresseerd in artkunst,

02:22
you can clickKlik this -- but I'm going to clickKlik this off right now.
53
127000

je kan hierop klikken. Maar ik klik het nu weg.
02:25
And this is one of these imagesafbeeldingen that we capturedgevangen genomen
54
130000
2000
02:27
in what we call gigapixelgigapixel technologytechnologie.
55
132000
2000
in zogenaamde gigapixel-technologie.
02:29
So this imagebeeld, for examplevoorbeeld,
56
134000
2000
Dit beeld heeft bijvoorbeeld
02:31
has closedichtbij to, I think, around 10 billionmiljard pixelspixels.
57
136000
2000
ongeveer 10 miljard pixels.
02:33
And I get a lot of people askingvragen me:
58
138000
2000
Vele mensen vragen me:
02:35
"What do you get for 10 billionmiljard pixelspixels?"
59
140000
2000
"Wat krijg je voor 10 miljard pixels?"
02:37
So I'm going to try and showtonen you what you really get for 10 billionmiljard pixelspixels.
60
142000
3000
02:40
You can zoomzoom around very simplyeenvoudigweg.
61
145000
2000
Je kan heel eenvoudig in- en uitzoomen.
02:42
You see some funpret stuffspul happeninggebeurtenis here.
62
147000
2000
02:44
I love this guy; his expressionuitdrukking is pricelessonbetaalbaar.
63
149000
3000
Ik ben dol op deze kerel. Zijn uitdrukking is onbetaalbaar.
02:47
But then you really want to go deepdiep.
64
152000
2000
02:49
And so I startedbegonnen playingspelen around,
65
154000
2000
Dus begon ik rond te snuisteren,
02:51
and I foundgevonden something going on over here.
66
156000
3000
02:54
And I was like, "HoldHoud on. That soundsklanken interestinginteressant."
67
159000

Ik dacht: "Wacht even. Dat klinkt interessant."
02:57
WentGing in, and I startedbegonnen noticingin de gaten hebben
68

02:59

69
164000
3000
03:02
I did a little researchOnderzoek, spokespaak to a couplepaar of my contactscontacten at the MetOntmoet,
70
167000
3000
03:05
and actuallywerkelijk foundgevonden out that this is a gamespel
71

2000
en ontdekte dat dit een spel is,
03:07
calledriep squallBui,
72

genaamd "gansslaan",
03:09

03:13
And apparentlyblijkbaar it was quiteheel popularpopulair.
75
178000
2000
Het was blijkbaar erg populair.
03:15
I don't know why they did it,
76
180000
2000
Ik weet niet waarom ze het deden,
03:17
but I learnedgeleerd something about it.
77
182000
2000
maar ik leerde iets bij.
03:19
Now just to get really deepdiep in, you can really get to the cracksbarsten.
78
184000
3000
03:22
Now just to give you some perspectiveperspectief,
79
187000
2000
Om jullie het perspectief te geven,
03:24
I'm going to zoomzoom out so you really see what you get.
80

215000
3000
03:53
But what if you want to see brushborstel strokesberoertes?
