in that dancing dress
u onoj haljini za ples
na tom prigušenom svetlu
by the sight of my Kodak delights,
svojim Kodakom
instead of kissing you babe
umesto da te ljubim, draga
with cute dogs and cupids
i Kupidonima
i da mi nedostaleš
I still desperately love you
i dalje te očajnički volim
instead of kissing you babe
umesto da ljubim tebe, draga
zovem jednom nedeljno
instead of kissing you
umesto da te ljubim
what you're talking about intimately,
o čemu lično govorite,
to share this insight
da podelite tu spoznaju
to share in everything,
u svemu
behind this architecture or this product
ove arhitekture ili ovog proizvoda

da impresionirate ljude

I'm from, nice to meet you all,"
early in the morning
rano ujutru
of my first day in school
na moj prvi dan škole
and where I’d like to go
i na koja bih voleo da odem
in the same place
na istom mestu
you’re born and raised
gde si se rodio i gde si odrastao
looking out to the sea
gledajući u more
gde ti želiš da bude
whatever he's having
isto što i on
we never met before?
nikada ranije nismo sreli
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Teitur - Singer-songwriterWhether they’re sung in in English or his native Faroese, Teitur laces his deceptively innocent songs with often stinging hooks.
Why you should listen
Teitur crafts songs with unexpected lyrical twists portraying everything from awkward love affairs to lost weekends. Although he’s written hits for singers like Seal and Corinne Bailey Rae, the best interpreter for Teitur’s songs is himself: his half-dozen solo albums have won him accolades from the Danish Royal family, the Guardian and fans around the world.
His album Story Music (recorded in a former ice factory) features contributions from legendary Beach Boys arranger Van Dyke Parks and 78 musicians gathered from his native Faroe Islands.
