I'm working in a team with Airbus

What are the main본관 customers고객 of the future미래?

01:58
So what we need is space공간 inside내부 the aircraft항공기,

02:05
These people have different다른 needs필요.
40
113927

02:07
So we see a clear명확한 need of active유효한 health건강 promotion승진,

02:13
We want to be treated치료 된 as individuals개인.

02:21
and what we are doing in the future미래 is
45
129258
2297
02:23
we want to use the latest최근 man-machine인간 - 기계 interface인터페이스,
46

02:26
and we want to integrate통합하다 this and show보여 주다 this in one product생성물.
47
134735
4371
02:31
So we combined결합 된 these needs필요 with technology's기술의 themes테마.
48
139106
3442
02:34
So for instance, we are asking질문 ourselves우리 스스로,
49
142548
2528
02:37
how can we create몹시 떠들어 대다 more light?
50
145076
2213

02:39
How can we bring가져오다 more natural자연스러운 light into the airplane비행기?
51
147289
2574
02:41
So this airplane비행기 has no windows창문들 anymore더 이상, for example.
52
149863
3396
02:45
What about the data데이터 and communication통신 software소프트웨어
53
153259
2733

02:47
which어느 we need in the future미래?
54
155992
1673
02:49
My belief믿음 is that the airplane비행기 of the future미래
55
157665
2901
02:52
will get its own개인적인 consciousness의식.
56
160566
2133
02:54
It will be more like a living생활 organism유기체
57
162699
2479
02:57
than just a collection수집 of very complex복잡한 technology과학 기술.
58
165178
4422
03:01
This will be very different다른 in the future미래.
59
169600
2122
03:03
It will communicate소통하다 directly직접
60
171722
1569
03:05
with the passenger승객 in its environment환경.
61
173291
2880
03:08
And then we are talking말하는 also또한 about materials기재,
62
176171
2101
03:10
synthetic인조 biology생물학, for example.
63
178272
1986
03:12
And my belief믿음 is that we will get more and more
64
180258
3715
03:15
new새로운 materials기재 which어느 we can put into structure구조 later후에 on,
65
183973
3702
03:19
because structure구조 is one of the key issues문제 in aircraft항공기 design디자인.
66
187675
4146
03:23
So let's compare비교 the old늙은 world세계 with the new새로운 world세계.
67
191821
3272
03:27
I just want to show보여 주다 you here what we are doing today오늘.
68
195093
1967
03:29
So this is a bracket까치발 of an A380 crew크루 rest휴식 compartment구획.
69
197060
4280
03:33
It takes a lot of weight무게,
70
201340
1697
03:35
and it follows따르다 the classical고전 design디자인 rules규칙들.
71
203037
3151
03:38
This here is an equal같은 bracket까치발 for the same같은 purpose목적.
72
206188
3651
03:41
It follows따르다 the design디자인 of bone.
73
209839
2149
03:43
The design디자인 process방법 is completely완전히 different다른.
74
211988
2520
03:46
At the one hand, we have 1.2 kilos
75
214508
2721
03:49
and at the other hand 0.6 kilos킬로.
76
217229
1943
03:51
So this technology과학 기술, 3D printing인쇄, and new새로운 design디자인 rules규칙들
77
219172
3267
03:54
really help us to reduce줄이다 the weight무게,
78
222439
1592
03:56
which어느 is the biggest가장 큰 issue발행물 in aircraft항공기 design디자인,
79
224031
2595
03:58
because it's directly직접 linked링크 된 to greenhouse온실 gas가스 emissions배출.
80
226626
2654
04:01
Push푸시 this idea생각 a little bit비트 forward앞으로.
81
229280
1820
04:03
So how does nature자연 build짓다 its components구성 요소들 and structures구조?
82
231100
4976
04:08
So nature자연 is very clever영리한. It puts넣다 all the information정보
83
236076
3041
04:11
into these small작은 building건물 blocks블록들, which어느 we call DNADNA.
84
239117
3197
04:14
And nature자연 builds빌드 large skeletons뼈대 out of it.
85
242314
2576
04:16
So we see a bottom-up상향식 approach접근 here,
86
244890
2494
04:19
because all the information정보, as I said, are inside내부 the DNADNA.
87
247384
3165
04:22
And this is combined결합 된 with a top-down위에서 아래로 approach접근,
88
250549
1994
04:24
because what we are doing in our daily매일 life
89
252543
2318
04:26
is we train기차 our muscles근육, we train기차 our skeleton해골,
90
254861
3106
04:29
and it's getting점점 stronger더 강한.
91
257967
2000
04:31
And the same같은 approach접근 can be applied적용된 to technology과학 기술 as well.
92
259967
2376
04:34
So our building건물 block블록 is carbon탄소 nanotubes나노 튜브, for example,
93
262343
3844
04:38
to create몹시 떠들어 대다 a large, rivet-less리벳이없는 skeleton해골 at the end종료 of the day.
94
266187
4266
04:42
How this looks외모 in particular특별한, you can show보여 주다 it here.
95
270453
3054
04:45
So imagine상상하다 you have carbon탄소 nanotubes나노 튜브 growing성장하는
96
273507
2134
04:47
inside내부 a 3D printer인쇄기,
97
275641
1437
04:49
and they are embedded내장 된 inside내부 a matrix매트릭스 of plastic플라스틱,
98
277078
3199
04:52
and follow따르다 the forces which어느 occur나오다 in your component구성 요소.
99
280277
3093
04:55
And you've got trillions수조 of them.
100
283370
1743
04:57
So you really align정렬하다 them to wood목재,
101
285113
2193
04:59
and you take this wood목재 and make morphological형태학의 optimization최적화,
102
287306
3169
05:02
so you make structures구조, sub-structures하위 구조,
103
290475
1959
05:04
which어느 allows허락하다 you to transmit부치다 electrical전기 같은 energy에너지 or data데이터.
104
292434
4033
05:08
And now we take this material자료, combine콤바인 this
105
296467
1937
05:10
with a top-down위에서 아래로 approach접근,
106
298404
1578
05:11
and build짓다 bigger더 큰 and bigger더 큰 components구성 요소들.
107
299982
3552
05:15
So how might the airplane비행기 of the future미래 look?
108
303534
3045
05:18
So we have very different다른 seats좌석 which어느 adapt개조 하다

111
310323

05:24
We have social사회적인 areas지역 inside내부 the aircraft항공기
