02:01
because what we're findingdescoperire out is that

pentru că noi am observat că,

we have this capacitycapacitate to reportraport

02:09
We're seeingvedere this in eventsevenimente like MumbaiMumbai recentlyrecent,
43
117000

02:12
where it's so much easierMai uşor to reportraport now
44
120000

02:14
than it is to consumea consuma it.
45
122000
2000
decît să o consumi.
02:16
There is so much informationinformație; what do you do?
46
124000

Împrejur e atâta informaţie, cei de făcut?

This is the TwitterStare de nervozitate reportsrapoarte for over threeTrei dayszi

numai despre Mumbay.
02:23
How do you decidea decide what is importantimportant?

What is the veracityveridicitatea levelnivel of what you're looking at?
50
133000
3000
Care e veridicitatea informaţiilor primite?
02:28
So what we find is that there is this
51
136000
2000
Ceea ce decoperim este că există
02:30
great dealafacere of wastedpierdut crisiscriză informationinformație
52
138000
2000
o mare pierdere de informaţii critice
02:32
because there is just too much informationinformație for us to
53
140000
3000
deoarece cantitatea de informaţii este prea mare
02:35
actuallyde fapt do anything with right now.
54
143000

pentru a putea face ceva acum.
02:38
And what we're actuallyde fapt really concernedîngrijorat with

is this first threeTrei hoursore.

sunt primele trei ore după întâmplare.
02:42
What we are looking at is the first threeTrei hoursore.
57
150000
2000
Ne uităm la aceste trei ore.
02:44
How do we dealafacere with that informationinformație that is comingvenire in?
58
152000
3000
02:47
You can't understanda intelege what is actuallyde fapt happeninglucru.
59
155000
2000
02:49
On the groundsol and around the worldlume
60
157000
2000
Pe pământ şi în jurul lumii
02:51
people are still curiouscurios,
61
159000

oamenii încă mai sunt curioşi,
02:53

62
161000
3000
02:56
So what we builtconstruit of coursecurs, UshahidiUshahidi,

De aceea am şi construit Ushaldi

is crowdsourcingcrowdsourcing this informationinformație.

această informa
03:01
You see this with TwitterStare de nervozitate, too. You get this informationinformație overloadsuprasarcină.
65
169000
3000
Aceasta se poate observa şi pe Twitter. Acelaşi surplus de informaţie.
03:04
So you've got a lot of informationinformație. That's great.
66
172000
2000
Să presupunem ca dispuneţi de multă informaţie. E minunat.
03:06
But now what?
67
174000

Şi ce dacă?
03:08
So we think that there is something interestinginteresant we can do here.

03:11
And we have a smallmic teamechipă who is workinglucru on this.
