ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Takaharu Tezuka - Architect
Architect Takaharu Tezuka creates imaginative and versatile personal spaces.

Why you should listen
Takaharu Tezuka and his wife Yui make up Tezuka Architects. Together they have built schools centered on trees, play areas created from interwoven wooden beams and hospitals that offer patients the healing gifts of joyous light and space. It is this same breathtaking light and space, sketched out with clean lines of wood, metal and glass, that are the hallmarks of each of Tezuka’s projects. Since establishing the firm in 1994, Tezuka and his team have created buildings that transform mere walls and windows into living — and livable — art.

I nema granica između unutra i napolju.
03:03
So it meansзначи basicallyу основи
this architectureархитектура is a roofкров.
51
171339
4639
To u suštini znači
da je ova arhitektura krov.
03:07
And alsoтакође there is no boundaryграница
betweenизмеђу classroomsучионице.
52
175978
3289
Takođe, ne postoje granice
između učionica.
03:11
So there is no acousticакустични barrierбаријера at all.
53
179267
3594
Tako da uopšte ne postoji
ni akustična granica.
03:15
When you put manyмноги childrenдеца in a quietтихо boxбок,
54
183590

Kada stavite mnogo dece u tihu kutiju,
03:21
some of them get really nervousнервозан.
55

neki od njih se stvarno unervoze.
03:24
But in this kindergartenobdaniste,
56

Ali u ovom vrtiću,
03:26
there is no reasonразлог they get nervousнервозан.
57
194985
3430
nema razloga da se unervoze.
03:30
Because there is no boundaryграница.
58
198415

Jer nema granica.
03:33
And the principaldirektor saysкаже

Direktor kaže
03:35
if the boyдечко in the cornerугао

60
203422

da ako dečak u ćošku
ne želi da ostane u sobi,
03:39
we let him go.
61
207425
1695
pustimo ga.
03:41
He will come back eventuallyконачно,
because it's a circleкруг, it comesдолази back.
62

(Smeh)
03:48
But the pointтачка is,
in that kindкинд of occasionpovod,
64
216561
2995
Ali poenta je, u takvim situacijama,
03:51
usuallyобично childrenдеца try to hideсакрити somewhereнегде.
65
219556
2851
obično deca pokušaju da se negde sakriju.
03:54
But here, just they leaveодлази and come back.
66
222407
4579
Ali ovde samo odu i vrate se.
03:58
It's a naturalприродно processпроцес.
67
226986
1850
To je prirodan proces.
04:00
And secondlyдруго, we considerразмотрити
noiseбука very importantважно.
68
228836
5023
A drugo, smatramo
da je buka veoma važna.
04:07
You know that childrenдеца
sleepспавај better in noiseбука.
69
235711
6431
Znate da deca bolje spavaju kada je bučno.
04:14
They don't sleepспавај in a quietтихо spaceпростор.
70
242142
3844
Oni ne spavaju na tihom mestu.
04:17
And in this kindergartenobdaniste,
71
245986
2250
U ovom vrtiću,
04:20
these childrenдеца showсхов
amazingНевероватно concentrationконцентрација in classкласа.
72
248236
5247
ova deca pokazuju
neverovatnu koncentraciju na času.
04:27
And you know, our kindкинд grewрастао up
in the jungleџунгла with noiseбука.
73
255193
6467
Znate, naša vrsta je odrasla

04:33
They need noiseбука.
74
261660

4304
I znate, možete da pričate
sa svojim prijateljima u bučnom kafiću.
04:39
You are not supposedпретпостављено to be in silenceтишина.
76
267967
3961
Ne treba da budete u tišini.
04:43
And you know, these daysдана
77
271928
2167
I znate, u današnje vreme
04:46
we are tryingпокушавајући to make
everything underиспод controlконтрола.
78
274095
4474
pokušavamo da sve držimo
pod kontrolom.
04:52
You know, it's completelyу потпуности openотворен.
79
280219
1802
Znate, potpuno je otvoreno.
04:54
And you should know that
80

05:08
And alsoтакође, you should know

05:15
So, childrenдеца are supposedпретпостављено to be outsideспоља.
86
303181
3869
Dakle, deca treba da budu napolju.
05:19
So that is how we should treatлијечити them.
