Here'sمن هنا the common-senseالفطرة السليمة ideaفكرة.
47

02:13
There is you.

02:14
You are the individualsالأفراد you are,

02:50
We have knowledge

02:53
It's not just intellectualذهني things.
65

02:56
So this is kindطيب القلب of
I think,
66
164395
2603
02:58
of what a personشخص is.
67
166998
1152
03:00
There is a personشخص who has all the things

03:08
is that there's something
fundamentallyفي الأساس wrongخطأ with this modelنموذج.
70
176960

03:14
Whichالتي is there isn't actuallyفعلا a "you"
at the heartقلب of all these experiencesخبرة.
72
182853
6855
03:21
Strangeغريب thought?
Well, maybe not.
73
189708
1613
03:23
What is there, then?
74
191321
1758
03:25
Well, clearlyبوضوح there are memoriesذكريات,
03:28
and so forthعليها.
76
196348
1943
03:30
But what happensيحدث is
these things existيوجد,
77
198291
2258
03:32
and they're kindطيب القلب of all integratedمتكامل,
78
200549
2069
03:34
they're overlappedتداخلت, they're connectedمتصل

79
202618
3789
03:38
They're connectingتوصيل partlyجزئيا,
and perhapsربما even mainlyفي الأساس,
80
206407
2590
03:40
because they all belongتنتمي to one bodyالجسم
and one brainدماغ.
81
208997
3327
03:44
But there's alsoأيضا a narrativeسرد,
a storyقصة we tell about ourselvesأنفسنا,
82
212324
3063
03:47
the experiencesخبرة we have
when we rememberتذكر pastالماضي things.
83
215387
2895
03:50
We do things because of other things.
84
218282
2232
03:52
So what we desire
is partlyجزئيا a resultنتيجة of what we believe,
85
220514
3612
03:56
and what we rememberتذكر is alsoأيضا
informingإعلام us what we know.
86
224126
3566
03:59
And so really, there are all these things,
87
227692
2662
04:02
like beliefsالمعتقدات, desiresالرغبات,
sensationsالأحاسيس, experiencesخبرة,
88
230354
3039
04:05
they're all relatedذات صلة to eachكل other,
89
233393
2430
04:07
and that just is you.
90

In some waysطرق, it's a smallصغير differenceفرق

You are the sumمجموع of your partsأجزاء.

04:31
Now those partsأجزاء are alsoأيضا physicalجسدي - بدني partsأجزاء,
