2000
Jadi, para hadirin semua di TED
00:17
we talk a lot about leadershipkepemimpinan and how to make a movementgerakan.
1
2000
3000
kita sering berbicara mengenai kepemimpinan dan cara memulai sebuah gerakan
00:20
So let's watch a movementgerakan happenterjadi, startmulai to finishselesai, in underdibawah threetiga minutesmenit
2
5000
3000
Jadi, mari menonton terjadinya gerakan, dari awal sampai akhir, kurang dari tiga menit
00:23
and dissectmembedah some lessonspelajaran from it.
3
8000
3000
dan menarik beberapa pelajaran darinya.
00:26
First, of courseTentu saja you know, a leaderpemimpin needskebutuhan the gutskeberanian
4
11000
2000
Pertama, seperti kamu ketahui seorang pemimpin itu harus berani
00:28
to standberdiri out and be ridiculeddiejek.
5
13000
3000
untuk terlihat berbeda dan siap ditertawakan
00:32
But what he's doing is so easymudah to followmengikuti.
6
17000
2000
Tapi apa yang ia lakukan sangat mudah diikuti.
00:34
So here'sini his first followerpengikut with a crucialsangat penting roleperan;
7
19000
3000
Jadi inilah pengikut pertamanya yang memegang peranan penting
00:37
he's going to showmenunjukkan everyonesemua orang elselain how to followmengikuti.
8
22000
2000
Dia akan menunjukan kepada yang lain bagaimana cara mengikuti
00:39
Now, noticemelihat that the leaderpemimpin embracespelukan him as an equalsama.
9
24000
2000
Sekarang, perhatikan sang pemimpin merangkul dia sebagai sederajat
00:41
So, now it's not about the leaderpemimpin anymorelagi;
10
26000
2000
Jadi, sekarang ini bukan saja mengenai sang pemimpin
00:43
it's about them, pluraljamak.
11
28000
2000
ini tentang mereka berdua, bersama-sama.
00:45
Now, there he is callingpanggilan to his friendsteman.
12
30000
2000
Saat ini si pengikut pertama memanggil teman-temannya
00:47
Now, if you noticemelihat that the first followerpengikut
13
32000
2000
Sekarang, Jika anda perhatikan pengikut pertama
00:49
is actuallysebenarnya an underestimatedmeremehkan formbentuk of leadershipkepemimpinan in itselfdiri.
14
34000
4000
sebenarnya merupakan kepemimpinan yang agak diremehkan
00:53
It takes gutskeberanian to standberdiri out like that.
15
38000
2000
Membutuhkan nyali besar untuk tampil beda
00:55
The first followerpengikut is what transformsberubah
16
40000
3000
Tapi si pengikut pertamalah yang merubah
00:58
a lonesendirian nutkacang into a leaderpemimpin.
17
43000
2000
seorang sinting menjadi pemimpin
01:00
(LaughterTawa)
18
45000
2000
(Tertawa)
01:02
(ApplauseTepuk tangan)
19
47000
3000
(Tepuk tangan)
01:05
And here comesdatang a secondkedua followerpengikut.
20
50000
2000
dan kini datanglah pengikut kedua
01:07
Now it's not a lonesendirian nutkacang, it's not two nutsgila --
21
52000
2000
kini bukan satu orang sinting, bukan pula dua,
01:09
threetiga is a crowdorang banyak, and a crowdorang banyak is newsberita.
22
54000
3000
tapi tiga, dan tiga itu ramai, dan keramaian adalah berita
01:12
So a movementgerakan mustharus be publicpublik.
23
57000
2000
Jadi, sebuah gerakan haruslah umum
01:14
It's importantpenting to showmenunjukkan not just to showmenunjukkan the leaderpemimpin, but the followerspengikut,
24
59000
3000
Sangat penting, memperlihatkan bukan hanya sang pemimpin tapi para pengikutnya juga
01:17
because you find that newbaru followerspengikut
25
62000
2000
karena seperti kamu lihat para pengikut baru
01:19
emulatemeniru the followerspengikut, not the leaderpemimpin.
26
64000
3000
meniru pengikut sebelumnya, bukan sang pemimpin.
01:22
Now, here come two more people, and immediatelysegera after,
27
67000
2000
Sekarang, datang lagi dua orang, dan segera setelah itu
01:24
threetiga more people.
28
69000
2000
tiga orang lagi.
01:26
Now we'vekita sudah got momentummomentum. This is the tippingtip pointtitik.
29
71000
2000
Kita dapatkan momentum. inilah titik baliknya.
01:28
Now we'vekita sudah got a movementgerakan.
30
73000
3000
Kini kita punya sebuah gerakan.
01:32
So, noticemelihat that, as more people joinikut in,
31
77000
2000
Perhatikan, semakin banyak orang yang ikut
01:34
it's lesskurang riskyberisiko.
32
79000
2000
resikonya mengecil
01:36
So those that were sittingduduk on the fencepagar before, now have no reasonalasan not to.
33
81000
3000
Jadi mereka yang hanya duduk dipinggir sebelumnya, tak punya alasan lagi.
01:39
They won'tbiasa standberdiri out,
34
84000
2000
Mereka tidak akan terlihat aneh.
01:41
they won'tbiasa be ridiculeddiejek,
35
86000
2000
Mereka tidak akan diolok.
01:43
but they will be partbagian of the in-crowddalam kerumunan if they hurrycepatlah.
36
88000
2000
Namun, mereka bisa bergabung bila bergerak cepat
01:45
(LaughterTawa)
37
90000
3000
(Tertawa)
01:48
So, over the nextberikutnya minutemenit,
38
93000
2000
Lalu, sepanjang satu menit kedepan,
01:50
you'llAnda akan see all of those that preferlebih suka to sticktongkat with the crowdorang banyak
39
95000
2000
Terlihat semua orang bergabung dengan keramaian
01:52
because eventuallyakhirnya they would be ridiculeddiejek
40
97000
2000
karena mereka akan diolok-olok
01:54
for not joiningbergabung in.
41
99000
2000
bila tidak bergabung,
01:56
And that's how you make a movementgerakan.
42
101000
2000
dan inilah caranya kamu memulai suatu gerakan.
01:58
But let's recaprekap some lessonspelajaran from this.
43
103000
2000
Ayo kita petik beberapa kesimpulan dari ini
02:00
So first, if you are the typemengetik,
44
105000
3000
Jadi pertama, jika kamu bertipe,
02:03
like the shirtlessbertelanjang dada dancingtarian guy that is standingkedudukan alonesendirian,
45
108000
3000
seperti pria tak berkaos yang berjoget sendirian,
02:06
rememberingat the importancepentingnya of nurturingpengasuhan
46
111000
2000
ingatlah akan pentingnya mendidik
02:08
your first fewbeberapa followerspengikut as equalssama dengan
47
113000
2000
para pengikut awal sebagai sama dan sederajat
02:10
so it's clearlyjelas about the movementgerakan, not you.
48
115000
3000
ini jelas semata mengenai gerakan, bukan kamu.
02:13
Okay, but we mightmungkin have missedtidak terjawab the realnyata lessonpelajaran here.
49
118000
3000
Oke, tetapi kita kurang menyadari pelajaran utamanya.
02:16
The biggestterbesar lessonpelajaran, if you noticedmelihat --
50
121000
2000
Pelajaran terbesar, jika kamu perhatikan --
02:18
did you catchmenangkap it? -- is that leadershipkepemimpinan
51
123000
2000
kamu sadar tidak? -- yaitu kepemimpinan
02:20
is over-glorifiedover dimuliakan.
52
125000
2000
agak terlalu dilebih-lebihkan,
02:22
That, yes, it was the shirtlessbertelanjang dada guy who was first,
53
127000
2000
memang iya, si pria tak berkaos yang memulai,
02:24
and he'llneraka get all the creditkredit,
54
129000
2000
dan dia mendapat semua pujian,
02:26
but it was really the first followerpengikut
55
131000
2000
tetapi sebenarnya pengikut pertamalah
02:28
that transformedberubah the lonesendirian nutkacang into a leaderpemimpin.
56
133000
3000
yang merubah seorang sinting menjadi pemimpin.
02:31
So, as we're told that we should all be leaderspemimpin,
57
136000
2000
Jadi, kita sering didorong agar menjadi pemimpin semua,
02:33
that would be really ineffectivetidak efektif.
58
138000
2000
itu akan sangat tidak efektif.
02:35
If you really carepeduli about startingmulai a movementgerakan,
59
140000
2000
Jika kamu sangat ingin memulai sebuah gerakan,
02:37
have the couragekeberanian to followmengikuti
60
142000
2000
beranilah untuk mengikuti
02:39
and showmenunjukkan otherslainnya how to followmengikuti.
61
144000
2000
dan tunjukkan yang lain caranya mengikuti.
02:41
And when you find a lonesendirian nutkacang doing something great,
62
146000
2000
Bila kamu melihat seseorang melakukan sesuatu yang aneh tapi bagus,
02:43
have the gutskeberanian to be the first one
63
148000
2000
Beranikan diri untuk menjadi yang pertama
02:45
to standberdiri up and joinikut in.
64
150000
2000
untuk berdiri dan bergabung.
02:47
And what a perfectsempurna placetempat to do that, at TEDTED.
65
152000
2000
Dan tempat terbaik untuk itu, adalah TED.
02:49
ThanksTerima kasih.
